Lenticular clouds are stationary clouds that form mostly in the troposphere, typically in parallel alignment to the wind direction. They are often comparable in appearance to a lens or saucer.

We note the Saguaro Cactus and the Joshua trees are not in the PNW they do however make a more photogenic image.
Orca
We will start off with Orca in front of Mt Rainier and meld into Orca's without the Saucers for those that don't believe {Moulder Scully? ) BTW, This would be the J pod that frequents Puget Sound.
